Days of Caring

DON’T JUST WEAR THE SHIRT,
LIVE IT!

Companies

Days of Caring are a wonderful way to connect your employees to the people, organizations and causes that they support through the annual United Way Campaign.  They provide a unique opportunity to complete a meaningful service project in the community.  They also serve as team-building opportunities and a chance for individual employees to take a leadership role in coordinating and helping to execute the event(s).

Volunteers

In addition to corporate Days of Caring, United Way holds several annual events that exemplify what it means to LIVE UNITED. It takes all of us working together to help create a healthy and prosperous community. These include activities around our national Day of Caring on June 21st and our Martin Luther King Day of Caring, details of which are posted on our Volunteer page in advance of each event.

There are many benefits to your group uniting with the community on Day of Caring. Through your involvement, you and your team are able to assist an agency or a neighbor with a project that would not normally be completed for lack of money, resources, or staff.

When you build a team of committed volunteers within your community to serve, you show a spirit of compassion and unity to your customers that reflects the mission of United Way.

For more information on volunteering for United Way please contact Charmaine Rodriguez or call the United Way office at 732-247-3727, ext. 216.
