On June 21st, the longest day of the year, United Ways across the globe host their annual Day of Action. For the second year United Way of Central Jersey focused on helping to fill the shelves at the county foodbank, MCFOODS, which serves 70+ local food banks across Middlesex County.
Companies and organizations participating in this year's "Count the Cans" event were Johnson & Johnson Healthcare Systems (JJHCS), Best Buy, DuPont, FedEx, Lyondellbasel, Revlon, Paychex, Target, Banana Republic, Bahama Breeze (host of the collection event), Stern Strategy Group, MCFA, Lakeview School staff, JRF and numerous individuals. For the 2nd year JJHCS collected the most food and were crowed the "Food Drive Champions".
