On May 11th United Way of Central Jersey corporate partners, donors and volunteers enjoyed a breakfast catered by Wegmans in recognition of their support throughout the year.
Participants took part in the Community Investment game, talking with staff and volunteers who run United Way's initiatives including the Nurse-Family Partnership and Parent Child Home program. They also learned about United Way's focus on early prevention and faced the dilema of trying to fund quality services with a limited amount of reasources.
Honored at the event were Johnson & Johnson Health Care Services with the Employer of Choice Award and volunteer Jane Sanders Leal who was recongized for her extensive community service. Ms. Leal currently serves as Vice Chair of the United Way Board of Trustees.
